Uses :


  • Piroxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat pain and help relieve symptoms of arthritis (eg, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis), such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.

Piroxicam API

Piroxicam, like other NSAIDs, acts through inhibition of tissue cyclooxygenases (Cox-1 and -2) leading to a decrease in synthesis of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins, which are potent mediators of pain and inflammation.
